Carpenters also built houses. Both carpenter and joiner craft in the art of woodworking, but they both do different things.The carpenter would build houses such as the picture on the top left.Joiners would build smaller thing s like funiture or doors.

Carpenters and joiners are the most useful trade in colonial Williamsburg. A very important carpenter was Benjiman Powell. He was a very rich man and a amzaning carpenter.
